Lian

Lian, known as Kikui in Japanese, is a character in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. He is a warden of the Pearl Clan, tasked with overseeing the noble Pokémon Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Despite his youth, Lian was chosen for this role due to his remarkable talent. He bears some resemblance to the character Clay, in hat and hair. Initially suspicious of the player, Lian challenges them to a battle upon their first meeting. After his defeat, he accepts the player's help, providing the Forest Balms needed to calm Kleavor. Later, he also assists the player in the Coronet Highlands, investigating red ore. Players can later rematch him at the Grandtree Arena. Lian is a cautious individual who eventually acknowledges the player's ability, offering crucial support. He battles with Pokémon including Sliggoo and Goodra, which he does not keep in Poké Balls.
