Gaeric

Gaeric (Japanese: ハマレンゲ Hamarenge) is a character in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, serving as a warden of the Pearl Clan tasked with watching over the noble Pokémon Avalugg. He resides in the Alabaster Icelands. Gaeric is a tall, muscular young man known for his frequent shirtless training sessions in the frigid environment. He sports light blue hair and a Pearl Clan chest tattoo. Gaeric is somewhat cocky and loves to show off, demonstrating remarkable resilience against the cold and exceptional athletic abilities. He acts as a mentor figure to Irida, who admires and respects him. While he shares visual similarities with Wulfric, the Snowbelle City Gym Leader, any relation between them remains unknown. In the game, the player assists Gaeric in obtaining Eternal Ice and engages him in battle. Gaeric is an adept Ice-type Pokémon trainer, often deploying multiple Pokémon at once, including Froslass and Glalie. His name is derived from Lagotis glauca (a.k.a. Wulfric plant), which also influenced Wulfric's name.
