Aarune

Aarune (Japanese: ギリー Girī) is a character introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. He is a world traveler and expert on Super-Secret Bases, hailing from the Unova region. Aarune is depicted as a young man with blonde hair tied into a ponytail and blue eyes. He wears a red cowboy hat with a blue stripe, a red scarf, a white T-shirt, a brown belt, and red pants, along with brown boots featuring a yellow band. He also carries red, blue, and yellow flags around his waist. In the games, Aarune is first encountered on Route 111, where he teaches the player about Secret Bases. Later, he appears at Fiery Path after the Mt. Chimney event, providing the player with TM96 (Nature Power) and directing them to the Secret Base Guild in Fortree City. In Fortree City, Aarune discusses Secret Base teams and offers daily battles. He also gives rewards for collecting flags, ultimately giving the player a Garchompite for collecting 1000 flags. He is known as the 'Secret Base Expert'.
