Cassius, known as クロケア in Japanese, is a character from the Pokémon franchise. He primarily appears in the Kalos region, where he serves as the maintainer of the Pokémon Storage System. Cassius was entrusted by Bill to oversee the storage system in this region and resides in Camphrier Town. In the Pokémon games, Cassius is depicted with a slightly disheveled appearance, bearing a resemblance to villainous characters but distinguished by his glasses. He seems to have a lack of organizational skills, as his room is frequently untidy. Cassius also makes an appearance in the Pokémon Adventures manga where he assists the protagonists and pilots a helicopter to transport them. He owns a powerful Gourgeist, which plays a crucial role in battles such as repelling antagonists and destroying control devices. Cassius is also featured in the Pokémon Trading Card Game as a Supporter card, allowing players to shuffle one Pokémon and all attached cards back into their deck. His Japanese name “クロケア” originates from a Celastraceae plant, while his names in other languages may relate to olives or similar plants.
