Paul Phoenix

Paul Phoenix, or ポール・フェニックス in Japanese, is a central character in the Tekken series, having appeared in every installment since the original game. In Tekken 8, he continues to be a hot-headed and aggressive martial artist determined to win the King of Iron Fist Tournament and prove he is the strongest fighter in the universe. He's a good friend of the Law family, and although he comes close to victory multiple times, he has never won the tournament. Paul's fighting style combines judo with other martial arts techniques and is known for his powerful strikes and signature "Phoenix Smasher." Despite his strength, he often finds himself in trouble due to his impulsive and reckless nature. In Tekken 8, Paul joins the fight against Kazuya Mishima and battles alongside his old friend, Marshall Law, even when their goals don't always align. Paul is also beloved by fans for his iconic high-top fade hairstyle and comedic personality, making him one of the most recognizable characters in the series.
