In the Tekken series, 'King (キング)' is a title shared by two characters, both masked luchadores from Mexico who support orphans. After the death of the original King, a young man raised in his orphanage took on his identity, becoming King II. King II participates in professional wrestling to fund the orphanage. In Tekken 8, King remains active in the wrestling circuit and continues to manage the orphanage. Recognizing the surge in children needing help due to the world war, he works harder to hone his wrestling skills, hoping to gain more funding and find like-minded allies. King's fighting style is wrestling, with a vast array of throws, along with excellent approach and poke moves. He was introduced new powerful moves in Tekken 8 such as the 'Jaguar Sprint', that make him more versatile in battle. Initially, King II fought for revenge for his mentor, but later realized that revenge was foolish, and pursued peace and justice. His deep compassion is evident in his attempts to help both his former enemies and his new mentor.
