Panda

Panda (パンダ) is a character in the Tekken fighting game series, debuting in Tekken 3. She is Ling Xiaoyu's loyal pet, best friend, and bodyguard. Initially, Panda was a palette swap of Kuma II, but she received her own character slot in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and first appeared as an independent character in Tekken Card Challenge. Panda is very intelligent, seemingly possessing near-human empathy and thought processes. She is considerate of Xiaoyu and supportive when Xiaoyu is upset. Panda also displays a playful side, similar to Xiaoyu. She often rejects Kuma, who pursues her, and has no romantic interest in him, although she does occasionally think of him. In Tekken 8, Panda remains Xiaoyu's pet and bodyguard, tracking her to the Mishima Zaibatsu building after Xiaoyu embarks on a journey to find the missing Jin Kazama. Panda's fighting style is "Heihachi-Style Advanced Kuma Shin Ken," specializing in mid-range poking and punishing opponents' whiffs. Despite poor mobility, Panda has powerful counterattacks and diverse offensive options, such as "Kuma Musou" and "Demon Bear Breath." Panda also has unique mix-up skills in Heat state, such as "Panda Shooting Star."
