Devil Jin, or Debiru Jin in Japanese (デビル仁), is a character in the Tekken series, first appearing in Tekken 3, but only becoming a fully playable character in Tekken 5. He is Jin Kazama's devil form after being consumed by the Devil Gene. In Tekken 8, Devil Jin is another form of Jin Kazama, having lost all reasoning due to the devil blood controlling his mind. He seeks absolute power and will do whatever it takes to achieve it, becoming crazed, aggressive, destructive, and sadistic. Devil Jin sees himself as superior to Jin, the host, and doesn't fully share his memories, retaining only occasional sensations. His goal is ultimate power, and he mocks his opponents' suffering, referring to them as "prey." He doesn't seem to recognize Jin's friends and associates, experiencing severe headaches when near them, particularly Asuka Kazama. In Tekken 8, Jin merges with Devil Jin's power, gaining temporary control, battling his father, Kazuya. Ultimately, he awakens as "Angel Jin," purifying himself and his father of the Devil Gene.
