Toothless

Toothless is one of the main characters in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise and the loyal dragon companion of the protagonist, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. He is an extremely rare Night Fury dragon, known for his black scales, exceptional flying speed, and high intelligence. Toothless plays a vital role in both the animated series and books, and his friendship with Hiccup is central to the entire series. In the movies, Toothless loses his left tail fin due to an injury, and later, with Hiccup's help, receives a mechanical tail fin which enables them to fly and fight together. He is not only Hiccup's indispensable aid but also his closest friend and family. Toothless is active and curious, while also very loyal and protective of his friends. His relationship with Hiccup breaks the traditional hostile relationship between Vikings and dragons, bringing peace to the island of Berk.
